Update

Hey! It's been a while, hasn't it? I just thought I'd give a quick summary of what's been going on since the 2010 season ended.

After our spring break, we got to work on an air cannon for shooting tees during school assemblies, but we never finished it. If we have time after the 2011 season, we might finish it up if we don't throw it away by then.

Officers for the 2011 season were chosen! I (Brandon Olsen) am now the president, Kyle Cheney is the vice president, Jacob Torgurson is the treasurer, and Fred Strojan is the secretary. We're all committed to our positions and will do our best to ensure a successful second year as a team. Returning as mentors are last year's president, Anthony Garoutte, and our resident epic person, Abood Albanna.

There was a meeting on the 26th, and we are starting to work on fundraising. There's not much to be said here except that our budget this time around will most likely exceed $20,000, which is twice as much as last year's, so we need to get working as soon as we can.

I'm currently in the process of touching up the website and getting rid of all of the stuff we don't need from last year. I'm thinking about changing the website to a different platform, as Drupal has a bit too much for our needs, but nothing is anywhere near final yet.
